Project XP1.CANIS is an advanced project in which all of the skills learned from Sumobots and Robocup are tested and expanded upon. At this stage, all aspects of XP1.CANIS are developed and designed using industry level tools.

Due to the complicated design of this project, team members focus on specific aspects such as focusing on the mechanical design, computer vision software, or designing circuit boards for the electronics. This specialization places an emphasis on organization and teamwork skills. The canine inspiration gives members the opportunity to learn about the applications of quadrupedal robots and their applications in various industries. Upon completion of this project, team members will have the skills necessary to start working in industry.
